Royal St. Kitts Hotel is seeking an energetic, creative and guest-focused Activities Coordinator to join our Food and Beverage team and create memorable experiences for our guests.
Located in the heart of Frigate Bay, our hotel offers a welcoming home away from home, with studios and suites designed for comfort and convenience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate engaging activities and experiences for hotel guests.
- Create fun, interactive programmes for individuals, couples, families and groups.
- Encourage guest participation and create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
- Coordinate activity schedules, supplies and equipment.
- Promote hotel activities and communicate schedules clearly to guests.
- Interact with guests throughout activities and provide excellent service.
- Support special events, entertainment and guest experiences.
- Ensure activities are conducted safely and professionally.
- Gather guest feedback and suggest ideas to enhance the activities programme.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in guest activities, recreation, entertainment, hospitality or a related field would be an asset.
- An energetic, outgoing and approachable personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and confidence when engaging with different types of guests.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Confidence speaking to groups and facilitating activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, professional and service-oriented approach.
Physical and Working Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to set up, move and store activity equipment and supplies.
- Ability to bend, reach, lift and carry items as required for activities.
- Ability to participate in and facilitate activities involving physical movement.
- Ability to work indoors, outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining energy, professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Ability to interact comfortably with guests of different ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to use and maintain activity equipment and supplies safely.
- Attention to guest safety and adherence to established health and safety procedures.
Schedule and Transportation
Applicants must be available to work weekends and public holidays, as operationally required.
