Royal St. Kitts Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional and service-focused Bartender to join our Food and Beverage team.
Located in the heart of Frigate Bay, our hotel offers a welcoming home away from home, with studios and suites designed for comfort and convenience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards.
- Provide warm, attentive and efficient service to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.
- Monitor stock and replenish supplies as needed.
- Process orders and payments accurately.
- Promote beverages and assist with upselling where appropriate.
- Follow responsible alcohol service, food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work closely with the wider Food and Beverage team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous bartending or beverage service experience would be an asset.
- Good knowledge of cocktails, beverages and bar operations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A friendly, confident and professional personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A reliable, team-oriented and detail-focused approach.
- Bartending or hospitality training would be an asset.
Physical and Working Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, lift, carry and move bottles, glassware, supplies and bar equipment.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work around wet floors, glassware, sharp equipment and cleaning chemicals while following safety procedures.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar throughout the shift.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and remain professional during busy periods.
Schedule and Transportation
Applicants must be available to work weekends and public holidays, as operationally required.
